Academic Transfer Scholarships

SPRING 2008

(requirements may change for Fall 2008)

Award

$350 to $500 per semester based on credits earned and cumulative GPA. Eligibility does not guarantee an award; this scholarship is competitive.

Deadlines:

Fall - June 1

Spring - December 1

have a completed transcript sent to the University (Admissions Office, PO Box 41210, Lafayette, LA 70504-1210) by:

July 1 for Fall

January 20 for Spring

Requirements for the Award

minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
at least 15 earned transfer credits; not including developmental courses or advanced placement
admitted to UL Lafayette as a Transfer Student the same semester as the scholarship application
transfer-reentry students are NOT eligible
enrolled as a full time student (12 hours) upon entering UL Lafayette
must be a U.S. citizen
