| Why did you choose
to come to UL Lafayette? I chose UL because of how I felt when I
visited the campus. It was a feeling of home and since I was moving away
from home I needed that.
Favorite place to eat in Lafayette? What do you like best about UL Lafayette? I love the atmosphere surrounding the school. The students and the professional staff are very welcoming. Favorite Club or Organization and why? My favorite organization would be the Student Orientation Staff. It is not only an organization but a family as well. I met some of my best friends through the organization, and I have learned so much about myself as well. Favorite Class and why? My favorite class would be any history course, because I love history. If I would have to pick one I would say Hist 222. It is American History starting with end of the Civil war to the present. Southside Bakery is my favorite place to eat in Lafayette. They have the best burgers in town and you also have the chance to get a dessert after your meal. Favorite spot on campus to hang out with friends? I would have to say the quad. It is right in the middle of campus, and is a good way to see your friends between classes. What is your favorite unique aspect of Lafayette? The culture here in Lafayette is very unique. There is the zydeco music and the Creole cooking that makes Lafayette different, and the people here are very proud of their background. What are your career plans? I want to teach an American history class. I am willing to teach where ever there is a job opening. I eventually want to earn my PhD and teach here at UL. |
