Why did you choose to come to UL Lafayette?
Coming to UL was coming home for me. I was born and raised a Ragin’ Cajun, but moved to Illinois for seven years. Both of my parents graduated from UL and there is nothing I would rather be than a Ragin’ Cajun! What do you like best about UL Lafayette? The hospitality of the students and staff and the unique culture of Lafayette. It is big enough to feel like an individual, but small enough to feel like a family. Favorite Club or Organization and why? Student Orientation Staff is my favorite. It has helped foster my school pride and helped me grow as a person. The staff is very close and they have become my second family. Favorite Class and why? Psychology was my favorite class. I had an amazing professor who made us “vibrate” by thinking outside the box. Favorite spot on campus to hang out with friends? The University Program Council office and Orientation office. Favorite place to eat in Lafayette? My grandma's house!. What are your career plans? I plan to get a Master's Degree in Higher Education then return to UL to work in in recruitment or orientation. |
