Montgomery Hall houses
the offices, classrooms and labs for the Chemistry
Department. It was
completed in 1952 and named in honor of William A. Montgomery, a Lafayette
druggist who was a member of the state legislature and the state Board
of Education. He was born in Lafayette Parish and owned and operated
Owl Drug Company.
