Angelle Hall was named in honor of a Robert J. Angelle. Angelle was a
successful banker in the Lafayette area who served in the Louisiana House
of Representatives for 30 years. Angelle Hall houses UL Lafayette's School
of Music and includes an auditorium used for concerts, lectures or other
events when a large audience is expected. It includes music practice rooms,
a choral room, band room, organ studio, and band library. Construction of
Angelle Hall was completed in 1965. |
